I’m Matt Olech (Mateusz Olech), and I’ve been creating content online for more than a decade. Matt is the name I use publicly and professionally.

I started on YouTube, where I built a community of over 160,000 subscribers and learned pretty much everything the hard way - how to keep people watching, build engagement, manage a community, read analytics and, most importantly, understand what creators actually need.
Today, content creation is no longer my full-time job. I run MattMedia, where I work on digital design, UI/UX, marketing materials and simple websites built with a vibe coding approach - combining design thinking, modern tools and AI-assisted development to turn ideas into working digital products quickly.
After hours, I still create content and go live on TikTok simply because I enjoy it.
And that’s exactly how TikChat started.
While hosting TikTok LIVE streams, I kept running into the same problem: the standard chat gives you the conversation happening right now, but very little context around it. I wanted to know who had been watching, who kept coming back, when the stream peaked, how the audience changed over time and what was actually happening during the live.
So I started building the tool I wanted to use myself.
TikChat combines two parts of my experience: years spent as a creator and the work I do today in design and digital products.
It was created from the perspective of someone who actually goes live, not a company trying to guess what creators need. Every feature starts with a simple question:
Would this actually make running a live easier or more useful?
What began as my own side project is becoming a tool for other creators who want to understand their audience better, keep track of their community and have more control over what’s happening during their streams.
I still use TikChat myself.
That’s kind of the point.
