1. Set your creator once
During setup, choose the TikTok creator connected to the TikChat profile. When that creator is LIVE, press Start. TikChat begins capturing the conversation from that connection point.
Viewer Memory for TikTok LIVE creators
A username can be impossible to recognize while a LIVE is moving at full speed. TikChat Viewer Memory lets you add the name you actually use for a viewer, highlight the people you do not want to miss, and keep those choices available when they return to a future stream.
`xX_KittyQueen_97_Xx` stops being another nickname in the feed. She becomes `Olivia`- the person who was here yesterday and came back today.
Saved names and viewer highlights are separate from chat history. They can remain available across future LIVE streams even though TikChat does not provide a searchable archive of past messages.
You remember the conversation. You remember the person. What you do not always remember is the exact mix of letters, numbers, underscores, and emojis in their TikTok username.
During a LIVE, there is no time to stop and solve that puzzle. You are speaking, watching the broadcast, following gifts, and trying to answer before the next comment pushes the message away. By the time you realize who wrote it, the moment has passed.
TikChat keeps a small piece of human context next to the chat. Enough to recognize someone. Not enough to turn your stream into a spreadsheet.
There is a difference between saying “hey, welcome” and saying “Kasia, good to see you again.” The second response tells a viewer that their previous time in your LIVE mattered. It turns a fast comment into the beginning of continuity.
Viewer Memory does not automate that relationship. It gives you the cue you need to create it yourself. You still speak in your own voice. You still decide who to remember and who to highlight. TikChat simply makes the useful context visible at the moment you need it.
During setup, choose the TikTok creator connected to the TikChat profile. When that creator is LIVE, press Start. TikChat begins capturing the conversation from that connection point.
A regular viewer, moderator, patron, friend, or simply a person you had a good conversation with appears in the active chat.
Click the + beside the TikTok username and enter the familiar name you use for that person. The original username stays visible, so you keep both identity and context.
Click the username to mark someone whose messages should stand out. Use it for regulars, moderators, supporters, friends, or anyone you want to notice quickly.
Search the current captured conversation by TikTok nickname, saved name, or words from a comment. You can return to the person without scanning the entire feed.
Saved names and highlights can remain available during future LIVE streams. When the same person returns, the context returns with them.
If the wrong TikTok creator was entered during the initial setup, contact support@tikchat.eu.

| One person's messages matter more | Their comment can blend into the feed. | Marked viewers remain visually highlighted. |
| You remember a name but not the username | You scan the chat and try to match it yourself. | Search the active chat by the saved name. |
| You need an earlier comment from the current LIVE | You scroll and hope it is still easy to find. | Search captured messages by comment text or nickname. |
| The LIVE ends | Personal context is easy to lose. | Saved names and highlights are kept separately for future LIVE streams. |

Recognize the people who return week after week without relying on perfect memory for every username.
Notice people you already know from outside the current comment, without turning the chat into a leaderboard or gift tracker.
Keep familiar people visible even when their TikTok usernames do not resemble the names you use in real life.
Save a useful cue while the conversation is fresh, so the next greeting does not have to begin from zero.
TikChat does not place a biography, activity score, and wall of statistics beside every message. That would make the thing you are trying to follow harder to follow.
The chat remains the main interface. Viewer Memory adds only the context that helps in the moment: the original TikTok username, the familiar name you saved, and a clear visual highlight when you choose one.
You do not need to “manage contacts” while you are live. You notice someone, save the detail, and continue the conversation.
Viewer memory is a way to keep useful identity cues about people who appear in your LIVE chat. In TikChat, you can attach a familiar name to a TikTok username and highlight selected viewers, helping you recognize them when they return to a future broadcast.
During an active captured LIVE, click the + beside the viewer's TikTok username. Enter the name you use for that person. TikChat keeps the original username visible and adds the familiar name as context, so you do not lose the connection to their TikTok identity.
Yes. Saved viewer names are separate from the temporary captured conversation and can remain available in future LIVE streams. TikChat does not provide a searchable archive of past messages, but the identity context you deliberately save can return when the same viewer appears again.
You can mark a viewer so their messages are easier to notice in the moving chat. The highlight is useful for moderators, regular viewers, supporters, friends, or anyone you choose. Highlight preferences can remain available across future LIVE streams.
Yes, during the active LIVE. TikChat search covers TikTok nicknames, names assigned in TikChat, and captured comment text. Search is limited to the current captured conversation and does not provide access to messages from an earlier LIVE.
No. You choose whose name to save and whom to highlight. TikChat does not assign relationship labels or rank people for you. It gives you a lightweight way to preserve the context that you, as the creator, consider useful.
No. TikChat begins capturing after you press Start while the selected creator is LIVE. It cannot reconstruct comments posted before that connection point or messages from a broadcast it did not capture. Viewer names and highlights are persistent preferences, not a historical message archive.
No. Viewer Memory helps the creator recognize selected people. It is not a moderation system and does not replace TikTok's controls for comments, keyword filters, muting, or blocking viewers. Those platform settings can also affect which comments are visible during a LIVE.
No. TikChat is an independent creator tool. TikTok is referenced only to explain the platform and LIVE chat with which the product is designed to work. TikChat is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TikTok.
The next time a familiar username appears, do not spend the moment trying to remember. See the name. Notice the person. Continue the conversation.
