A creator-facing chat for your desktop setup
TikChat gives your LIVE conversation a dedicated browser view on your desktop or laptop. Keep it beside TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS, move it to a second monitor, resize the chat for your normal viewing distance, and follow the room without covering the broadcast.
It is not another broadcasting suite and it is not a public overlay. It is the private chat view for the person running the LIVE.
TikChat runs in a modern web browser with internet access on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and phones.
A stream already asks you to watch several things at once: the camera, the content, gifts, the audience count, and whatever you are doing on screen. When chat is small, buried inside another interface, or placed over the broadcast, reading one comment can mean missing something else.
The answer is not always more controls. Often, it is simply giving the conversation a stable place of its own.
TikChat turns the browser into that place: readable, adjustable, searchable, and close enough to your camera sightline to help you answer while the moment is still alive.
TikTok, TikTok LIVE Studio, or OBS still handles the broadcast. TikChat does a narrower job: it gives the creator a clearer private view of the captured LIVE conversation and a few useful signals above it.
You can keep TikChat in a browser window on the same PC, place it on a second monitor, or open it on a separate laptop, tablet, or phone. The best position is the one that lets you glance at the conversation and return your eyes to the camera without searching for the chat.

Open TikChat in a modern browser on the PC or laptop you want to use. Place the window on your main display, second monitor, or another supported device.
Begin the broadcast through TikTok or the broadcast workflow you already use, including TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS. TikChat does not start or replace the broadcast.
When the selected creator is already LIVE, click Start. TikChat connects and begins capturing the conversation from that moment.
Increase or decrease the chat size until comments are comfortable to read from your normal presenting position. Give the conversation enough room without letting it take over the workspace.
Add familiar names, highlight selected viewers, and search the active conversation by nickname, saved name, or comment text.
Keep the broadcast tools and TikChat in separate windows on the same display. Make the chat large enough to scan quickly, and avoid placing it over the part of the broadcast you need to monitor.
Keep TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS on the main display and dedicate the second monitor to TikChat. Position chat close to the camera sightline if you want to read comments without appearing to look away for long.
Run the broadcast on the computer and open TikChat on a nearby laptop, tablet, or phone. This is useful when the main screen is already full or when you want to move chat closer to your natural viewing position.
Change the chat size to match your screen, distance, and available space.
Keep current viewers, new followers, and taps visible above the conversation.
Add a familiar name beside a TikTok username so you can recognize the person faster.
Mark selected people so their messages stand out when the chat gets busy.
Find captured messages by comment text, TikTok nickname, or a name saved in TikChat.
| Creator need | Native chat inside the usual workflow | TikChat browser view |
|---|---|---|
| Give chat its own space | Chat shares attention with the broadcast interface. | Place a dedicated chat window on the main display, second monitor, or another device. |
| Read from presenting distance | Text size and available space may not suit your setup. | Increase or decrease the chat size for your normal position. |
| Recognize a returning viewer | The username must be recognized in the moment. | Show a familiar saved name beside the TikTok username. |
| Notice selected people | Important comments can blend into the feed. | Highlight chosen viewers so their messages stand out. |
| Find something in the active conversation | Scroll and visually scan the feed. | Search captured text, nicknames, or saved names during the current LIVE. |
| Check useful LIVE signals | Attention may be split across different parts of the interface. | Keep current viewers, new followers, and taps above the conversation. |
| Display chat to the audience | Depends on your broadcasting tools and scene setup. | TikChat is a private creator view, not a public on-stream overlay. |
| Recover earlier comments | TikChat has no access before it connects. | Capture begins after Start and cannot reconstruct the past. |
TikChat needs a modern web browser and internet access. It can be used on a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or phone.
The selected creator must already be LIVE. Press Start in TikChat to begin capturing from that moment.
Comments sent before the connection point or during an uncaptured LIVE cannot be reconstructed.
Search covers the active captured conversation. TikChat does not provide a searchable historical chat archive after the LIVE.
Names you assign and viewer highlights can remain available between LIVE streams even though old messages are not searchable.
If comments are disabled or filtered, keywords are blocked, or a viewer is muted or blocked using TikTok controls, that can affect which comments appear.
Open TikChat in a modern browser on your desktop or laptop. Start the broadcast through your normal TikTok workflow. Once the creator selected during setup is LIVE, press Start in TikChat to begin capturing and reading the conversation in its dedicated browser view.
TikChat is browser-based, so the product is designed to run in a modern web browser with internet access. You can open it on the computer used for your LIVE or on another supported device, without treating it as software that replaces your broadcasting workflow.
Yes, TikChat can sit beside TikTok LIVE Studio as a separate creator-facing chat view. LIVE Studio continues to handle the broadcast. TikChat keeps the conversation in a dedicated browser window and does not claim to replace or control LIVE Studio.
Yes, you can keep TikChat open beside an OBS workflow. OBS handles the broadcast and scenes; TikChat provides the private browser view used to read and understand the room. This is workflow compatibility, not a claim of direct OBS integration.
Yes. TikChat can run in a browser window on a second monitor while your main display carries TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS, or other broadcast content. You can also open it on a separate laptop, tablet, or phone if that arrangement better matches your setup.
No. TikChat is primarily a private operator view for the creator. It is not a graphic placed inside the public broadcast for viewers to see. Its job is to help the host read, search, and add useful viewer context while the LIVE is running.
No. Capture begins when the selected creator is LIVE and you press Start in TikChat. It cannot reconstruct comments sent before that connection point or retrieve conversations from an earlier LIVE that TikChat did not capture.
No. TikChat search is limited to the currently active captured conversation. You can search it by comment text, TikTok nickname, or a saved viewer name. TikChat does not provide a searchable archive of messages after the LIVE ends.
TikTok allows creators and moderators to disable or filter LIVE comments, block keywords, and mute or block viewers. Those platform controls can affect what is visible. A missing comment can therefore result from TikTok's LIVE settings rather than TikChat's storage behavior.
The TikTok creator is selected once during the initial TikChat profile setup. If the wrong username was entered, contact support@tikchat.eu for help correcting the configuration before relying on the Start flow for a LIVE.
No. TikChat is an independent creator tool. References to TikTok, TikTok LIVE, and TikTok LIVE Studio describe product compatibility and context only. TikChat is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TikTok.
Open TikChat beside your next broadcast. Make the conversation readable, keep the useful signals in sight, and spend less time searching the interface for the person who just spoke to you.
